Aydan has been in his big boy bed for 1 week now and he's doing great! I'm so proud of how good he's doing in it. He lay in it until he falls asleep and doesn't get out to play at all. If he wakes up in the middle of the night he cries for me, but waits in it until I get there. I think the fact that's its still "his" crib makes it a comforting place to be. He will sleep in this one until Christmas until he get his real big boy bed and has no sides on it at all. My little baby is growning up... no passys, bottles, or crib anymore. :(
One last hurdle left in the baby stage..... diapers. He's doing really well at that too. He pees in the potty a lot during the day, but can't can't get to the point where he tells me he needs to go. He tells right after he goes.. haha. We're getting there.
ohmigosh that makes me nervous! I dont want Xander to be old enough to put himself to bed! (wait, did I catch a case of the crazies?)
ReplyDeleteYes, I think so because you are a long way from that! ha. Its hard to part with the whole crib idea. Only problem is we need it in 6 months for someone else :)
